It was a truly sweet day… On Candy's first full day here (one year ago) we went to Oakland Chinatown to visit this particularly good dim sum restaurant, then took the ferry back to SF and explored downtown.
This time, she took the lead, starting the date with a lovely Ferry ride returning to SF under the Bay Bridge. Then she lead me through hidden little gardens in the upper levels of the Embarcadero Center and throughout the Financial District. We waked up to Chinatown and did some small shopping for some things we needed; continued walking through various parks to lovely views and angles of the city, mostly far from the tourists…
After a long day of holding hands and being cute and meandering all over the city we stopped at a favorite bar of mine and had a couple of drinks to celebrate ^_^ Now we're home in our underwear trying to beat the heat! Hahaha <3

Our Anniversary is tomorrow!!!
Tomorrow marks the day when, one year ago, my girlfriend arrived here in California… I can still remember the look of wonder in her eyes as I showed her The Bay… how she marveled at the fact that two women could not only hold hands, but actually kiss in public without bigots getting involved.
This is the longest relationship I’ve ever been in and I’m glad it’s with you. Nobody has ever understood me and cared for me like you do. I have never felt such a deep connection to anyone in my life.
